Finovra AI is a product of Brainfy AI Inc. (“Brainfy”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal information we collect through the Finovra AI website (https://www.finovra-ai.com), the Finovra AI web application (https://app.finovra-ai.com) and the Finovra AI mobile apps (together, the “Services”), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Finovra AI is in development. Where this policy describes the application, it describes how it is designed to handle information; we will update this policy before features that change it are released.
1. Information we collect
When you contact us or request a demo. Your name, work email address, company name, country (United States or Canada) and anything you write in your message.
When you use the Finovra AI application. Account details (such as your name, email address, the organization you belong to and your role), and the business and financial records you or your organization enter or import, such as legal entities, charts of accounts, journal entries and approvals. Each action in the application is recorded in an audit log with the person who took it and when.
Technical information. Our hosting providers automatically process standard request information, such as IP address, browser or device type and the pages requested, to deliver the Services and keep them secure.
We do not ask for and do not want sensitive personal information such as health information or government identification numbers through the website.
2. How we use information
- To provide, maintain and secure the Services, including signing you in and keeping each organization's data separate.
- To respond to demo requests, support questions and other messages.
- To keep an accurate audit trail of financial records, as accounting requires.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents.
- To meet legal obligations.
3. AI features
Finovra AI's AI features are designed to prepare drafts and explain figures from your organization's own records. AI cannot post, approve or reverse entries on its own: a person in your organization must approve them.
We do not use your organization's financial data to train AI models for other customers. If we use a third-party AI model provider to deliver these features, we will name it in this policy before the feature is released.
6. Where information is stored
Our service providers may store and process information in the United States, Canada or other countries. Information stored outside your country may be accessible to authorities there under local law.
7. How we protect information
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), role-based permissions, database-level separation between organizations and an audit log that cannot be edited. Posted financial entries cannot be changed or deleted, only reversed.
No system is perfectly secure. We do not hold a SOC 1 or SOC 2 report. To report a security issue, email security@finovra-ai.com.
8. How long we keep information
We keep account and financial records for as long as your organization uses Finovra AI and afterwards only as long as needed to meet legal, tax and accounting record-keeping obligations or resolve disputes. Demo requests and messages are kept for as long as needed to respond and follow up. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to know how it is used, and to withdraw consent. Residents of Canada can make requests under Canadian privacy law, and residents of some US states have similar rights under state law.
To make a request, email privacy@finovra-ai.com. We may need to verify your identity. If your information is in an organization's Finovra AI workspace, we may refer your request to that organization, which controls its records.
Deleting your account. See how to delete your account. Some financial records may need to be kept after deletion to meet legal obligations, as described above.
10. Children
Finovra AI is a business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
11. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will give notice before it takes effect.
12. Contact us
